Reduced care during COVID-19

According to research published in the Sept. 11 issue of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, there is widespread avoidance of medical care due to COVID-19. So the problem has two sides – one is state-ordered reduction in care and the second is patient reluctance to come for advice and treatment. For now the state-ordered reduction is behind us. Clinic is as busy as ever. I’m still finding some patients would rather not come to the hospital or clinic. We make every accommodation to assist. If something is needed, please let me know. Every safeguard is in place to minimize the risk of transferring COVID to our patients.
